Crankie Fest

Crankie people from around the region will gather March 26th at 7:00 p.m. at the Confluence Creative Arts Center for an evening of art form from the 19th century. Crankies – otherwise known as “scrolling panoramics” use illustrated scrolls to present story, song or poems. Crankies will use a back-lit box or project art or shadow puppets onto a viewing screen creating a charming and engaging effect. Bring an individually-wrapped or packaged treat for a pot-luck dessert bar.
