Shanksville 5K & 10K races – For Terry Shaffer benefit

The Shanksville 5K & 10K races return on February 13th, with a 1:00pm start at the Shanksville Stoneycreek High School. This non-competitive even is to raise funds for Heart4Terry, a fundraising campaign in support of Terry Shaffer, longtime fire chief of the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department. He is listed for a heart transplant. The campaign will raise funds as the annual out-of-pocket medical expense will be great for Mr. Shaffer and his family.

Donations are asked to be a minimum of $15 and checks should be made payable to the National Foundation for Transplants with “in honor of Terry Shaffer” written in the the memo line.  The event will NOT have T-shirts or awards, but a clock will be available for timing.
