DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 2-11 can come to the Meyersdale Library on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for an “Adventure Begins at Your Library” themed program! There will be stories\, games\, guest presenters and more. Smokey the Bear will even be there on July 19! Registration is required at the library and children 5 and under must attend with an adult. The final program will feature a picnic sponsored by Somerset Trust.

SUMMARY:FIRST FRIDAYS AT THE SOMERSET HISTORICAL CENTER
DESCRIPTION:Join us August 2nd from 5:30p-8:30p for a relaxing evening on the lawn with good local food and music. Some covered seating will be provided\, but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Parking is $5.00\, but admission is Free. We will also have some family friendly games and tractor rides. \nMusical entertainment provided by The FEELS with special guest Dopamine! \nFood available for purchase from Pappy D’s\, Taste\, and Somerset Historical Society Concessions. \nScheduled for the first Friday of the summer months of June\, July\, and August\, First Fridays are a relaxing evening filled with music and food from local vendors. First Fridays are sponsored by the Historical and Genealogical Society of Somerset County. Free admission with a parking fee\, proceeds benefit the Historical and Genealogical Society of Somerset County.
