The Somerset Hometown Hero Project Banner display will kick off on May 18th, Armed Forces Day. A 5K race will kickoff the festivities at 9 AM at the Somerset High School football stadium. The event aims to highlight local military and first responders.

There are many activities planned as well as various food vendors.  Recruiters from each branch of the military will also be present.  Veterans are welcome to come and share their stories of service.
