CHILDREN’S BOOK FESTIVAL

The Children’s Book Festival will be April 13 and 14, 2024 at Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center in Johnstown’s Cambria City Neighborhood. 

A bookmark contest is part of this annual event hosted by The Learning Lamp.  Children are asked to design a bookmark that represents this year’s theme of Bark, Roar and Explore.  The contest is divided into four age groups:

Division #1 – Pre-K and K

Division #2 – Grades 1 and 2

Division #3 – Grades 3 and 4

Division #4 – Grades 5 and 6 

A winner in each division will receive a prize package that includes a personal library of books.  Winning entries are selected by popular vote of those attending the festival.  

One bookmark entry per child will be accepted.  For a printable entry visit: https://thelearninglampe.org/for-families/childrens-book-festival/ for a printable form.  Bookmarks can be dropped off at the Learning Lamp at 2025 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA.  The deadline to submit is Friday 29, 2024 by 4 pm.
