PENNDOT PUBLIC MEETING BRIDGE PROJECTS

March 26 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

PennDot is developing bridge replacement plans for bridges on Route 4001 (W. Bakersville Edie Road) and T-364 (Jimtown Road).  A public meeting and plans display for those interested in learning more about these projects is scheduled for March 26, 2024 from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Bakersville Volunteer Fire Hall at 2341 Bakersville Edie Road, Somerset.  

The project on W. Bakersville Edie Road involves replacement of the existing single-span superstructure over Moore Run. Traffic will follow a detour during construction.

The Jimtown Road project consists of replacing the existing one-lane, single-span Gardner Bridge over Laurel Hill Creek.  A detour will be implemented during construction.
