New to computers, smart phones or tablets? Want to work on building your confidence in using technology?  Classes on the basics will be the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 1-2 pm or Wednesdays from 6-7 pm at the Somerset County Library. 

On Saturday December 23, Santa will arrive on the firetruck in Lavansville at 4 pm.  From there he will go through Bakersville. He will then go to the Bakersville Firehall for pictures and cookies from 5 pm till 6 pm.  The event is free and open to the public.  

Laurel Hill State Park Complex is celebrating First Day Hikes.  Choose a hike for your first day! Monday, January 1 from 11 am to 1 pm at Laurel Ridge State Park. This will include a hike to a unique water vista along the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail  It will be approximately 4 miles on moderate terrain.

The debut of 2B'S Acoustics at Glades Pike Winery on Saturday January 6 from 1-5 pm    2B's Acoustic is the duo of Brenda and Bryan Hill primarily covering country and classic rock songs from the 80's through today, with a few surprise pop and alternative hits thrown in for good measure!
