SummerQuest Club + Reading & Activity Challenge at Somerset County Library
Dive deep into summer reading. Complete quests to earn prizes while achieving your summer reading goals. Age groups: 5 and under, 6 -11, teens, and adults. Those who reach their goals will be entered into a Grand Prize Drawing for each age group for a chance to win $50 in Local Loot. The 2022 SummerQuest
Drones: Flight School
In this camp, kids will master basic piloting skills, flight safety, aerial photography, and drone physics. Campers will also learn how drones are used in a variety of careers and will brainstorm their own uses. Weather permitting, the camp will conclude with a race to showcase piloting skills. Did you know that people can read the same book and envision the characters and scenery differently? This year we are challenging you to read a book of your choice and then interpret what you read artistically. Shanksville Community Picnic
ANNUAL SHANKSVILLE COMMUNITY PICNIC DAY ONE, FRIDAY, AUGUST 5th thru 7th The Shanksville Community Picnic, first celebrated in 1930 and now sponsored by the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department, kicks off at 4:00 PM, Friday, August 5, with the opening of games and the kitchen at the community grove. At 6:30 PM there will be a
