Great American Banana Split Celebration
This year's celebration takes place Aug 19-21st at Main & Ligonier Streets in Latrobe. It's an annual event that celebrates the place where the banana split was invented. Activities include a 55k Bnana run, live entertainment, a car show, pie-eating contest, children's activities, craft vendors, and of course, BANANA SPLITS! More information is available at
Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival
Mark your calendar for a great event in the Laurel Highlands! Plan on attending the Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival August 20th & 21st, 2022 FREE ADMISSION! Live bluegrass music from various bands and musicians. Food trucks will be on site to provide food and drinks. There will be "Re-enactor Village," some interesting vendors and more!

The Springs Farmers Market opens May 28th. It is held Saturdays from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm at 1711 Springs Road, Springs, PA. More than 80 vendors with fresh-picked produce, baked goods, quilts, plants and hand-made artwork, jewelry, leather items and woodwork will be on site. Breakfast and lunch is also available.
